Smithfield RSL Dress Regulations

Smithfield RSL is dedicated to maintaining high standards of facilities and services for its Members and Visitors. All Members and Visitors are expected to dress appropriately when on Club premises.

Club Management enforces a “Neat and Tidy” dress standard, taking into consideration contemporary dress standards. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person whose attire is considered unsuitable or does not meet the Club’s dress standards.

Dress Standards

Members and Visitors are expected to maintain a clean, neat and tidy appearance at all times.

The following attire is not permitted within the Club:

  • Brief or excessively short shorts
  • Swimwear or undergarments worn as outerwear
  • Torn, ripped or excessively damaged clothing
  • Bare feet
  • Sports caps
  • Bandannas
  • Clothing displaying offensive, obscene or inappropriate language or imagery

Hoodies and Beanies

Hoodies and beanies are permitted in designated Outdoor Gaming (ODG) areas only.

Hoodies and beanies must be removed before entering any indoor area of the Club.

Management reserves the right to apply the Club’s dress standards at its discretion, having regard to the circumstances and the area of the Club being accessed.
